Let's say the Healthy Heart Tip video of the week was about choosing exercises that elevate your heart rate to the target rate. You would take a picture of yourself doing some sort of activity that elevates your heart rate, such as running, spinning, swimming, etc. If it's hard to think of a picture to take, maybe these ideas will help:

  • Have a friend or family member take a picture of you doing the weekly activity.
  • If you're camera shy, take a picture of only your arms or legs doing the activity.
  • Temporary setbacks are OK. Share it. If you couldn't sustain your workout for 30 minutes, show a picture of the treadmill that did you in.
  • If the Healthy Heart Tip is about nutrition, take a picture of the healthy grub you're making.
  • Give us a glimpse of your favorite pre or post workout snack.
  • Show off your favorite workout clothes, gear, or partner.
  • Feel free to be creative.
  • Whatever you do, make sure you always include the hashtag: #100dhc

We will randomly select winners each week from the entries.
